The Chaos Method (On Writing Compulsively)

Look, I’m not about to sit here and pretend I write one neat little book, toss it to the wolves, and start from scratch like a normal person. If you want pristine, pre-planned timelines where every single plot point across an entire multi-book arc is neatly mapped out from day one, you’re in the wrong place.

The story lives entirely in my head, and I write compulsively—meaning I am drafting the entire damn series first before I ever bother publishing a single page. A lot of writing purists would probably look at my messy, massive undertaking and tell me it's backwards or "wrong." Well, oh well. Writing the whole sprawling beast first gives me the freedom to go back, add, subtract, fix continuity errors, and twist characters inside out across the entire timeline before a single book hits the shelf. It’s chaotic, it’s probably slightly unhinged, but it’s how I do it. Welcome to the madness. Pull up a chair.
